Common questions
How fast do I get my headshots back?
Standard turnaround is 72 business hours from shoot to retouched delivery. Actor sessions are five business days because they include more frames. Same-day rush delivery is available for $150.
Do I get the RAW files?
Standard packages deliver fully retouched JPEGs only. Actor sessions include color-corrected RAW backups of the selected frames at no additional cost. Other packages can add RAW delivery for $250.
Do you photograph teams on-site at our office?
Yes. On-site team headshot days run regularly across Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, and Seattle offices. Each person spends 12–15 minutes away from their desk, and a 30-minute setup is all that is needed in a conference room.
Where are you based?
JODANI Photo is based in Kirkland, WA, with a downtown studio and on-location service across the Eastside and Greater Seattle. There is no travel surcharge for shoots in Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Issaquah, or within the Seattle city limits.
How is retouching handled?
Retouching is invisible by design. Skin texture stays. Stray hairs, blemishes, and fabric wrinkles are corrected. The retouch is calibrated so the final image still looks like you on a good day, not a different person.
How much does a headshot cost in Seattle?
Single-person corporate or LinkedIn headshot sessions at JODANI Photo start at $295. Actor headshot sessions start at $395. Personal branding sessions start at $750. On-site team headshot days start at $125 per person for groups of six or more, all-in.
How long does a headshot session take?
A standard single-person session is 60–90 minutes. Personal branding sessions run 2–3 hours. On-site team days are scheduled in 12–15 minute slots per person, so a team of 20 finishes inside half a day.
Can I bring a hair and makeup artist?
Yes, and it is recommended for personal branding and corporate sessions where the headshot will run for two or more years. A short list of preferred Seattle and Bellevue HMUAs can be shared at booking.
How do I book a session?
Use the contact form to share dates, the type of session, and any deadlines. A 25% retainer locks the slot, and the remainder is paid before delivery. Most sessions are confirmed within one business day.
What should I wear for my headshot?
Solid mid-tones in your brand colors photograph best — navy, charcoal, deep green, burgundy. Avoid busy patterns, bright white tops, and visible logos. Bring two outfits so we can shoot a more formal and a more approachable look in the same session.
